If you would like to receive issues of Talking Book Topics in audio cartridge format, contact us to set up a subscription. Additionally, current and back issues of the catalog can be found online at www.loc.gov/nls/tbt. OTBS Renewal News Rochester Hills Public Library has been home to the Oakland Talking Book Service since October 2012, when the Oakland County Board of Commissioners approved the move from the service’s previous home at the county complex. Hosting this specialized service in the award-winning Outreach Department at the Rochester Hills Public Library allows us to offer patrons personalized customer service, even in the evenings and on weekends, as well as relevant programming and local assistive technology training. This year, the contract to keep the service at RHPL is up for renewal. If the talking book program has touched your life, please reach out to the Oakland County Commissioners and let them know how much it means to you to receive library materials, participate in book discussions, or learn new skills. You can reach out to them by email at boc@oakgov.com or by telephone at 248-858-0100.
