On May 15, team members from Leader Dogs for the Blind will join us to help launch this new group! RHPLÕs Makerpace The Makerspace is can help OTBS patrons explore their creativity and create custom, functional items. The space is equipped with tools like 3D printers, a laser cutter, a smart cutter, and more. The 3D printers are a great resource to make accessible items and tactile images such as zipper pulls, remote holders, maps, and photos. You can take a tour of the Makerspace or schedule an appointment with a specialist for one-on-one assistance. For more information about available equipment, visit rhpl.org/makerspace. Crafting: Tactile Collage (In Person) Wednesday, July 2, 6-8 p.m. Makerspace Spend some time with others while creating art with crumpled paper, felt, yarn, and other tactile materials.
